Peppers
These are from a watercolor class I took. The drawing was the basis for my paintings, and it's on watercolor paper, so the texture is a little weird looking for peppers. We had to do 2 paintings from our drawing. Both had to be monochromatic, one using a warm color and one using a cool color.
I was born in Massachusetts and lived there until I turned 21 years old. That's when I decided I needed a change in my life and decided to pick up and move 3,000 miles away from the home I had always known, to beautiful Arizona! I have been here for almost 2 years, as of the 1st of January. While there are things I still love and miss about MA, like the changing leaves in the fall, and the beaches in the summer, I can't help but love Arizona more and more every time I look outside and see the gorgeous sunsets, and the amazing mountain ranges. The landscape here is unlike anything I've ever seen, and even after 2 years it still amazes me to how breathtaking it can be. I am a junior at Arizona State University, and I am an art education major. I love art, and I could not imagine myself pursuing any type of career that did not put my creativity to use.
